Tackling Hunger: How Saint Mary’s is Making a Difference

At Saint Mary’s, we believe in putting our faith into action. This February, we are joining a nationwide effort to tackle hunger through our Food Pantry donations. On February 2 and 9, we will be collecting:

  • Cans of chicken noodle soup (low-sodium)

  • Cans of vegetable soup (low-sodium)

  • Breakfast cereals and pasta

Your donations can be left in the narthex or the parish house. These items will go directly to the Falmouth Food Pantry, which serves nearly 200 families each month.

Additionally, on February 23, we will host a presentation by the Preble Street Teen Center, which supports homeless and at-risk youth in our community. The teens are in need of winter clothing, so consider donating gloves, hats, scarves, coats, and other essentials.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who are struggling. Let us be swift to love and make haste to be kind.
